Angle
A guide to your next puzzle
How to play Angle
Angle is a free geometry guessing game. Look at two rays, estimate the highlighted angle in degrees, and use each clue to get closer to the answer.
- Read the highlighted angle counterclockwise from the ray pointing right.
- Enter a whole number of degrees. The feedback tells you whether the answer is higher or lower.
- Adjust your estimate until you find the angle or run out of guesses. Choose Next puzzle for another angle.
Choose your challenge
Easy gives 8 guesses, a guide, and answers in 15-degree steps. Medium gives 6 guesses and answers in 5-degree steps. Hard gives 4 guesses, asks for the exact degree, and can include angles larger than 180 degrees.
A tip to get started
Picture a right angle at 90 degrees and a straight line at 180 degrees. Use those landmarks to split the angle into smaller, familiar pieces.
What does an angle larger than 180 degrees look like?
It goes more than halfway around a full circle. In Hard mode, follow the highlighted part of the circle rather than the smaller gap between the rays.
