Who runs PuzzleVault

Playing as a guest
You can play every game without an account. Puzzle generation and game logic run in your browser. Completed statistics and your theme preference are stored on your device using browser storage. Guest records stay on this device. If you sign in, completed round results and current puzzle snapshots are also sent to Supabase and stored under your account so they can be restored on another device.
Optional accounts
If you create an account, your email address and password are sent securely to Supabase to provide authentication. Supabase manages password protection, account confirmation, password reset and sign-in sessions. Session information is stored in your browser so you can stay signed in. Account saves include puzzle state, guesses, hints, Sudoku notes and elapsed time, results and difficulty. Your results are used to calculate streaks, win rates and averages.
Authentication and hosting services may process technical information, including IP addresses, request timestamps and browser information, to deliver and protect the service.
Service providers and external links
Vercel hosts this website, Supabase provides authentication, and Google Fonts serves our typefaces. These providers receive the information needed to handle requests to their services. Their processing may occur outside your country.

Storage and your choices
This version uses browser storage for game records, unfinished puzzles, queued uploads, your theme and sign-in sessions. Signed-in records and puzzle saves are also stored in Supabase under your account. It does not include advertising or custom analytics scripts. You can sign out from the account page and clear this site's browser data to remove locally saved information. Clearing browser data does not delete your Supabase account or already synced progress. It can remove unsent changes. Cloud progress is retained with your account; account deletion also removes its game records.
To request access to, correction of or deletion of account information, email support@puzzlevault.live from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live.
Contact and policy changes
If you email us, we use your address and message to respond to your request. Do not send your password. We will update this page when the site's handling of information changes and revise the date above.
